Not a Flygon fanboy myself but here's some Mega Flygon sets. I've never been of the opinion that it should gain Bug typing, but to each their own I suppose.
Take your pick:
Mega Flygon set 1
Type: Ground/Dragon
Ability: Adaptability, Tough Claws or Tinted Lens (People underestimate Tinted Lens; Choice Scarf Yanmega wrecks house.)
80/100/80/80/80/100
80/135/90/90/90/135
BST -- 520 - 620
Mega Flygon set 2
Type:Ground/Dragon
Ability: Arena Trap
80/140/90/100/90/120
Mega Flygon set 3
Type: Ground/Dragon
Ability: Speed Boost
80/140/90/110/90/110
Mega Flygon set 4
Type: Ground/Dragon
Ability: Compound Eyes (Solely useful for Iron Tail, Dragon Rush, Fire Blast, Stone Edge.)
80/135/80/115/80/130
When making a Mega Flygon it is inevitable and understandable that it would be sized up against Garchomp. Since Mega 'Chomp's speed drops, speed is the ONE thing that mega Flygon will ever have that will be better than Garchomp, so all these sets capitalize on that. With moves like U-Turn, I think mega Flygon would be used as a hit-'n'-runner.
Note also I know the stat spread on the Arena Trap set is inferior to mega Gengar in every way. Didn't think long about that one.
