The "new adventude / discovery" experience is purely subjective. They have clearly refrained from adding standard content just to jew some money with BW2, after the major fixes of Platinum and HGSS the BW games were expected to start from the same quality level in terms of postgame and ao on. Personally between Team Plasma boring shitmon battles and limited dex I was more annoyed than pleasured, barely no interesting or worthy postgame or reason to play it once BW2 was released.
The only good thing it had over BW2 was Ghetsis's team and the sadly closed Victory Road route in BW2, which was subbed by another comfy one at least.
Also very annoyed by the pixelated sprites.
