Flygon stands out as being based on flying insects, but is neither bug nor flying type -- I like this. I want more pokémon like this. In my opinion Grounb/Dragon makes the most sense for Flygon, and is very fitting.
Flygon itself doesn't even really look like a bug, it just has some bug-like characteristics and is based on a bug, i.e. antlions.
