To put that into perspective, with the exception of Kalos, most games took place in one small region of an entire country. We had 4 games in various areas of Japan, and that country is smaller in land area than California (a lot of countries are though). Gen V only took place in a part of New York State. Pokémon World wouldn't even be a good name for it because we've only covered a tiny fraction of Earth in the mainline games.
