I like the idea of everyone's character looking different. It makes it feel more like an MMO or you're in an actual Pokemon world with different trainers instead of everyone having the same "muh canon" design.

More hair styles.
Larger range of hair colors, like pink, violet, green, white, blue etc.
Larger range of eye colors. Red, purple, silver, etc.
Clothes able to be worn regardless of gender. Girls can wear hoodies, guys can wear skirts and dresses. Etc.
French maid dresses.
The ability to remove hats.

You have never injected, have you? You can easily removed hats and even bags or mega rings.

Also, someone could try to make a romhack after Z comes and doesn't have anything of this. But gen VI is hard to mod, even gen V is missing some stuff to be modded iirc.

costumization in XY is terrible, I almost would prefer no costumization at all: few choices and you can't even take your goddamn hat off.. they really just developed the feature a little for the sake of the gimmick and then left it there

If they REALLY want to implement costumization, it has to be in EVERY game and be more in line of great ones like the Splatoon or even Animal Crossing one.
