The anime couldve been much more interesting:
>Season 1 (Kanto)
Basically Pokemon Origins but 80 or so episodes long and without the Mega Evolutions. Red's or Ash's company being Leaf, or Blue (the girl).
>Season 2 (Orange Islands)
Red's or Ash's small adventure after winning the league ending with him going to Mt. Silver.
>Season 3 (Johto)
3 years have passed. The story revolves around Gold at first, with Kris joining later on, with the plot going from GS to C.
>Season 4 (Kanto)
After Gold wins the league, him and Kris go to Kanto. Battle the gym leaders, waking up the Snorlax, the rouge Rocket Grunt, etc. They learn about Red/Ash from Blue after bumping into her at some point. Ends with Gold beating Red/Ash at Mt. Silver.
>Season 5 (Hoenn)
May and Brendan go out on a journey with Wally appearing every so often to battle them. The plot near the end goes from RS to E with Rayquaza stopping Kyogre and Groundon. May or Brendan win/lose the league.
>Season 6 (Battle Frontier)
May and Brendan are invited to the Battle Frontier and wear their Emerald outfits.
>Season 7 (Sinnoh)
Dawn and Lucas go on a journey, encounter Team Galatic, etc. The plot then goes from DP to Pt with the visit to the Distortion World. Ends with Lucas or Dawn winning/losing the League.
>Season 8 (Sinnoh Battle Frontier/Johto)
Dawn and Lucas are invited here and now wear their Pt outfits. They encounter Lyra who invite them to the Pokeathlon
>Season 9 (Unova)
Hilda and Hilbert start a journey with Bianca appearing every once in a while. Encounter both Reshiram and Zekrom, N, and Team Plasma. Ends with one of them winning/losing the league.
>Season 10 (Unova)
3 years later..Plot revolves around Rosa and Nate, with Hugh and Bianca appearing every once in a while. Team Plasma freezes the region, encounter Kyurem, etc. Ends with one of them winning/losing the league. We might get cameo appearances of previous characters in the World Championships.
And so forth..
