The fairy Pokemon itself is simply holding a flower. It makes sense to be purely Fairy.

Why guys? Everytime I look at my Florges it just disappoints me. It disappointed me like Flygon disappointed me in not being Dragon/Bug all those years back.
Is there anyone out there who wanted these type combos so badly? I figure Florges' competitive viability might suffer a bit, but it would have been a cool combo regardless. Same for Flygon until newer gens where he'll be able to differentiate himself better instead of being a shadow of the better Ground/Dragon.
