They should revamp the scary house in OP pic to make it actually spooky like the anime did.

As for the ghost girl, I think that one will definitely be resolved. Maybe the Pokémon Z protagonist will be "the one" or they'll be able to bring the one to her if they're still Calem/Serena. They wouldn't have kept it in ORAS otherwise.

The game runs an if-else statement when you do some interacting with Ghostie witch lady. If you have a downloaded item, Pokemon, I don't know(It is a data value, I haven't gotten to that yet) then it triggers an event, which seems to lead into battle.
If you don't have this item, you likely get the usual.

The fourth shrub is a maze for trapping Furfrou in, it's not meant to look like anything.

I'll defend XY and ORAS to death but do you people really think they'd put this much effort into this crap? For instance, Sea Mauville was great for building lore, but it was nothing but a text dump and a free Spiritomb. Nothing like bringing your friend's Mew from under the truck to New Brunswick and battling Omega Imakuni or whatever you think these things will lead to.

There's always been interesting red herrings and leading details in pokemon, though this may never lead anywhere it is definitely overt. This gen there's been a ton of stuff "left out" like the unbuilt battle tower, the episode style post game story stuff, whether or not they actually use the foundation they set up, or just resolve it in the third games.. it's still there.. at the very least as homage to the clues in the early games to deeper meanings and connection between seemingly unrelated details.

Dunno if its been pointed out, or even if it means anything at all, but the colours on zygarde match Kalos' dex region colours, they're even in the same layout if you look at zygarde from the front

Both have Red, Blue and White.

When the colors are put together, and read from left to right, the order is blue, white and red. On Zygarde, this pattern shows up twice, one with the colors on wings and legs. The other with the colors on his chest.

I just brought him up as a joke but damn would it be nice if Imakuni showed up in a main-series game. Especially the last Gen 6 game, since he's said his new favorite Pokemon is Binacle.
I would also take a new Ranger game with an Imakuni cameo since he worked on the first two games.
Hell, it's the 20th Anniversary, they could rerelease the Imakuni? TCG cards.

ORAS is just like FRLG. Both games have these factors in common with each other.

Both have Move Tutors
Both have updated E4 Rematches with foreign Pokemon
Both have Pokemon and Legendaries not in the 1st pair of their generations
Both have crappy battle facilities
Both have new island exploration
Both have credit themes with songs of towns mixed in

ORAS is a rehash of fucking FRLG with Hoenn in it...

XY reminds me so much of DP. Signs of cut content, development troubles, and rush. It doesnt have a math test gym and isnt as shitty of a game but nonetheless I spot the similarities. Z will defenitely be the BW2 of Gen 6... I see it. Hopefully its not a fucking Platinum/Emerald.

So, I see people saying how Platinum improved on DP quite heavily. I want to know how?

It's funny, Platinum is my favourite game of the series; and even though I also own Diamond, I prefer Platinum by a wide margin. The thing is, I just can't put my finger on why. I'm trying to look back as to the differences between the games, but I'm failing to see where Platinum excelled. Yet, despite that, I still remember it as a better game, and I hold it as my favourite.

Alright, so feel free to add to what I've forgotten. Things Platinum added:
Battle Frontier (love the fuck out of this, Battle Factory is my jam)
The whole Giratina plot

Aside from those two, what else was there?

They dont improve much, and are basically what the games they "improved" couldve been if they didnt try to put out clearly unfinished games early in the GBA/DS lifecycle. By "improved", I mean ideas they clearly put on backburner only to put in the next as improvements. GF has always been really sleazy and money grubbing but you didnt get those feelings in Gen 5.

Your point? I really don't think they'd just randomly reference the "colors of the categories of the pokedex". The red and the blue are much more likely referring to Yvetal and Xernas, with the white just serving as detail.

I know this is just me being a scrub, but was anything about AZ or the Eternal Floette explained in the game at all? I haven't played through X/Y in a long while, but it seems like he just kinda forces his way into the game for no reason. Maybe it's explained in the anime, but why wouldn't you include any information about him into the game, either?

The thing you can't put your finger on is probably the battle speed being significantly faster. That, and adding a bunch of Pokemon to the regional dex so that you didn't keep seeing the same six Pokemon over and over.

Also, a bunch of little oversights were fixed, like it being possible to get locked out of the national Pokedex until next Friday because the only Drifloon trainer in the game is inside of a gym and optional.

Emerald and Platinum both have the same extra features.

Both have Gym Leader rematches, Battle Frontier, fixed story, a few new characters, a few new landmarks, player characters get some cosmetic tweaks.

The difference with Platinum was the updated Pokedex but Hoenn's Pokedex was already complete.

The lake on Route 21 is no where near that big, and Anistar is way further north east on both the in-game map and official map.

It's Anistar, it's just missing the sundial for some reason. Otherwise it matches fairly well. It even has a snowy area to the left that lines up with where Mamoswine Road should be.

More like trying to be in denial. In his apology speech to MC he blames himself for not talking to Lysandre about his ideas. The way the whole thing's worded gives off the vibe that he could tell something was wrong but never wanted to address it.

Emerald Hoenn could have done with a few more Johto-mon added to the Regional Dex due to Gen II being incompatible and Gen I being filled by FRLG. Maybe a couple of extra Ice and Ghost types to improve the Elite 4 a bit as well.

I remember back when it came out one of the NPCs near the eiffel tower started talking about hearing a Lava Dome pokemon.

So me and some other people on /vp/ tried to see if we could get Heatran to appear by using a Chatot with Heatran's cry recorded from a video while we walked around the city.

Nothing happened, but it was fun.

Also pic related I don't think people ever figured a way into.
