That's usually my go-to, but I always read PokeSpe every few months or so. Usually for volumes to go up so we can get a proper chapter order, the release schedule is fucking awful.

How is the manga edgy? It's not even as bad as some other kids manga which are full on ow the edge scenarios. Read Naruto, One Piece, or Dragon Ball Z and Pokemon looks very innocent in comparison.

Actually, this ending came out much later, the original magazine version ended with Black about going back to the league and the BW2 arc stared, later she the volume came out, the ending was extended.

Then you should be old enough to realize that if a character's personality isn't realistic within the context of the universe, it's not relatable and will not resonate with the readers. It's exactly the reason why Mary Sues and "edgy" characters are so hated, because their characters are so completely detached from reality that it exceeds the suspension of disbelief.
