I'm with you. It looked awesome. Pokémon Adventures also has that feeling in the art. The designs used to be better in general. Now the creatures tend to get overdesigned. I still like it though. We have pretty cool designs like Krookodile, Talonflame, Pangoro and many others.

I've been searching the Safari Zone in Blue for ages now and I'm convinced this fucker doesn't exist. Is there a particular part of the zone it's supposed to appear in?
Then there's the issue of whether I risk throwing a rick at it when I finally do see one.

The colouring style is nice but otherwise it's pretty awful. Then again a lot of the recent art has been garbage so yeah.

I was utterly frustrated for all the years I played it as a child, for I saw him only twice and he ran away.

Then, as an 18 year old, I casually picked the game up again and caught him in like the first to third (unsure) run through the safari zone.

Wouldnt have thought that red would suprise me at that point again.
