Steel/Fairy.
Things I'm predicting/noticing:
1. Magiana may or may not be its Japanese names. Gia is also in the Japanese names of the Kling line. "Gear" - "gia." Magiana could be mage/magi + gia/gear + feminine ending in na.
2. The bonnet on its head is a gear. As a whole, Magiana seems to be a mixture of Diancie and Klinklang design wise. This could mean nothing, but considering Diancie was formed when a Carbink was mutated it's not so farfetched to consider the Magiana was built or formed from mutated Kling.
4. Dress is rococco-esque in style, which is very feminine and princessy. Defaults to fairy type in most peoples minds. Dress also resembles a pokeball though.
5. Typings could be Steel/Fairy, which seems to be the most popular. However we already have Klefki and Mawile. Steel/Psychic, going back to the magi in its name and the third eye that could be on the top of its head. Steel/Electric or Electric/Fairy are other possibilities. If it were Electric/Fairy, one of those types is strong against one of Volcanion's types, the other is not.
6. If Magiana is going to be in the Volcanion movie, perhaps it was created (since its suggested it is manmade) to contain Volcanion. Perhaps there was no pokeball capable of containing him. Magiana's "ears" seem to look as if they'll fold down and complete the ball.
7. Guaranteed waifu material.
