If we don't get pokemon Z or X2Y2, and go straight into, the 7th gen, Will the 6th gen go down as the worse gen of pokemon?

What did you like and dislike about the 6th Gen and what do you hope for the 7th gen of pokemon?

I dislike Mega evolution.
I dislike that Kalos (region) only had 72 Pokémon.

I hope 7th generation of Pokémon have 190 New Pokémon.

Not the worst, at least gens 1 and 2 were effectively made null and void with their respective remakes. Other than those, yes, it's the worst.

Gen 6 has its flaws, but its not the worst generation. Also, even if the story was worse than BW, they still did a much better job of executing it visually.
I like Gen 6 more than 5. Just wanted to say that before Gen 7 hits and /vp/ switches to Gen 6 being the greatest gen.

Yeah I don't get it, the re-used platinum/HGSS sprites look fine, but the sprites for the gen V mons are awful. I still enjoyed the actual games more than XY though, it's not that Gen 6 is bad, it's that getting through those games just feels like a fucking slog.

I played 1-4 as soon as they came out but I just stopped at 5 and I got heavily reinvested into gen 6, and I finally beat black and black 2 when I decided I was going to finally complete the dex.
All the sprites are just so rough unlike previous games where they were smoothed out.
Plus the story was lame as fuck

I liked how much thought was put into all the Gen 6 (so far?). Like I don't love every design, but I can see why some might like this or that even if I don't. I think this might be the only Gen I can say that about. Lowering the number was a good call. Quality over quantity.

On the flip side, the Gym Leaders & Elite 4 were unmemorable trash compared to most Gens. Gen 6 probably worst offender for this. The anime has done a good job of reversing that and giving some life to them, but not everyone watches the anime.

I wouldn't bank on Gen 7 being on the NX. Nintendo seems to like having something out for a while before putting pokemon on it; that's why Black and White weren't on the 3DS.

Not really a fan of the forced emotional manipulation within the plot. The devs REALLY want to make everyone cry or something with all the "sad" moments and music but it just completely disconnects me from the game. There was something charming about the presentation of the plot in the older games. It was never in your face or demanding.
