After the first pair of gen 7 games, what will GF remake: FR/LG or D/P? While having remakes of a remake seems stupid, gen 6 has started a new timeline of Pokemon where Mega Evolution exists (just like how gen 3 started a new timeline where abilities existed). So it's likely that they'll remake all the regions again. Then after they remake Unova in gen 10, they'll introduce a new big mechanic and remake all the regions again (starting with Kalos, then Hoenn, then the new gen 7 region, etc.)
