I don't understand why Nintendo is only promoting Gen 1. Shouldn't Pokémon's 20th anniversary focus on the series as a whole? Why aren't there SMM costumes with sound effects for the other starters? Why are they only debating Red and Blue in this Splatfest? I just don't get it. There's so much stuff to work with and so many other Pokémon that could be used to celebrate this momentous occasion, yet they act like the other 500 or so Pokémon don't even exist...
