People are always saying how nostalgia makes a game even greater for them, and how they always come back to play it for that feeling, not only here but everywhere.

Anybody experiences the opposite?
I don't know how to explain it but I can't endure that feeling of nostalgia. It makes me feel "cold" inside or sad when I watch very old series again.
This basically makes impossible for me to play any gen3 game even though Hoenn was one of my favorite experiences as a kid.
I can't even listen to Littleroot Town RSE theme.

The funny thing is that I started with gen2 and recently enjoyed Crystal again.
