While OP is a faggot shitposter, the visuals are way behind. But gen 6 did a good enough jump. It was D/P and B/W that needed to have bigger jumps in graphics.

The graphics aren't shit at all. I'm not even a fanboy. XY's graphics are up to par with normal 3DS games. The only issue is the framerate drops.

The visuals aren't shit either. They're stylized. Stylized visuals are much more timeless than the pseudo-realistic graphics that Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask 3D suffer with.

they could at least fix some weird things like blastoise having 3 cannons yet he shoots from his mouth???
i think each pokemon has 1 anim for physical 1 for special so some moves just look really goofy, like combusken doing double kick is just two stationary little hops, but then i click peck and he does a jumping kick
like come on now

really hoping that the gen6 games so far were just laying the groundwork and they'll blow our minds with the next games, which shouldn't be too hard our standards have been sufficiently lowered by now

I always figured the graphics didn't change very much intentionally. While the graphics did improve a bit over time, each game was directly recognizable next to the previous one.

The problem with that is that you eventually run into the decision to continue the game with a limited design space, or risk alienating fans of the old style.

The only thing disappointing to me about XY's graphics would be the washed out color a lot of the pokemon seem to have now. But what the fuck do I know, maybe slightly more saturated colors make it look even uglier.

You aren't doing YKW any favors, also while the detail is better in YKW those shaders on the characters is pretty trash, I'd rather Pokemon or Inazuma Eleven

Comparing LBW to the rest of LoZ (including handheld games) and gen 6 to the rest of Pokémon shows that these 3DS games are the worst looking in the series. Are you fucking high?

But I have no problem with the visuals in X/Y and above. Bout damn TIME we stopped fighting with what was basically clip art.
