The part where you need so much water based hms just to traverse to Sootopolis city was annoying, the city itself had a cool entrance but nothing really interesting in it.
Almost all cities fall to this to me. Cool concepts who are very badly executed. It was a step in the right direction though.

The plan was stupid.
It works perfectly and then the team who managed to pull it off (or if you are playing Emerald, both teams!) realize they were fucking dumb and ask for a 10 year old to save their asses while a gym leader and the freaking Elite 4 champion just look without doing much to help you.
I understand, it was the first time in the series the story had any sort of weight and twists but the very premise was stupid as all fuck.
