Why is time travel so common in the Pokemon world?

You have pokemon that can travel, you have machines that can perform time travel, and you have some other ways.

I think the pokemon world falls under multiverse theory, because you have people go back in time where they do things that have no impact on the future timeline. I don't remember how the universe worked in the 4th movie.

In the 4th movie it just played it as they time traveled all along and it was meant to happen so you can't effectively change things from happening in the future.

Pokémon seems to mainly use time loops for time travel, as in if they prevent something from happening they will cause it to happen themselves. So I don't really see much of a point.

Except for the Arceus movie, which has a delayed ripple effect of all things.
