The bigger red flag to me is the fact that the legendary trio have very Japanese-sounding names; even the legendaries that had their names changed in localization still had pretty universal names to begin with. How would those even be romanized? Aibyosi? Johole? Kansioni? They don't really sound good to an English-speaker do they?

And you forgot the Psychic line that changes secondary types and then becomes pure Psychic in its final stage. I agree that it's not something Game Freak usually does.
