Platinum was shit, and the only way to make Sinnoh good is with a remake. HG/SS on the other hand, probably the best game, along with OR/AS

Except every Pokemon had their own specific touches with Amie when it came to good spots and reactions.
There's very little variance in following Pokemon in HG/SS

Imagine it like this, if amie were in HG/SS every pokemon would have their best petting point be their head unless they had fire there in which case it would be their noses or something.
It would also be missing the minigames and poffin.

In D/P some things like attack animations and damage were kinda delayed, resulting in about an extra second. Also Surf was slow.

It was fixed in Platinum though.

It was never ruined since introduction though. Best story in the franchise and largest new roster to boot. Gen 5 was objectively flawless.

Agreed. Playing Black for the first time was the most fun I've had playing a Pokemon game. It felt so fresh and new. Plus it introduced a ton of great Pokemon.

Diamond was actually my first pokemon game I got in 5th or 6th grade. I never had many video games growing up so until that point I had just played with the cards all day long. I never had platinum, would it be worth getting?
