>HG/SS' Safari zone was a a gimmicky piece of shit that never even worked for most people, and the backlash it received is why we haven't really seen one in a game since. They could have made ORAS' Safari zone the same as RS' Safari Zone instead of removing one of the few different ways to get Pokemon.
>A game with a literal carbon copy of minesweeper in it is not a good thing. It's not a carbon copy of minesweeper, though. It's actually different, and I enjoyed playing it. How is no game corner better than a game corner with a game some people didn't like?
>Hey, at least it's somewhat new. It's not new at all. Contests were already in Gen 3 and 4.
>Plus isn't everything about Pokémon not just button mashing to win? No, of course not your "perfect" games.Ok, I guess since every Pokemon game is just button mashing, they're all equal. No game is better than any other, because they're all just button mashing.
Great argument.
And the pokeathlon isn't just button mashing, it uses the touch screen and requires some skill.
>They both copypasta'd a facility. They can't just copy something out of thin air and paste it.Then maybe they could make it from scratch based on the Emerald BF instead of copy pasting from XY, dumbass.
>>using a handicapSo it doesn't count as content because you didn't use it?
>Oh, I don't know, maybe it's the fact that OR/AS actually fixed some glaring issues meanwhile HG/SS still has many of the problems present in the originals. That and there's absolutely no story whatsoever, and no character building, meanwhile OR/AS actually had a story and it was quite good compared to GF's other attempts.Sure, HGSS had issues, but ORAS did too. It removed content from RS, such as Granite Cave and New Mauville. And ORAS also didn't fix some problems: HMs are still a pain for traversing the region, and availability of Pokemon is still bad (zigzagoons everywhere).
>no character building in HGSSWhat is your rival?
