For some reason, in general ORAS's instruments felt "muddy" to me. I don't know why but although the gba games had not the best-quality midi instruments, they were "clear" and I always thought they mixed the sounds pretty well within the songs. ORAS songs feel somehow "bloated" to me.

Anyway, besides that the one song change that didn't sit well with me was the ending theme. I like medleys and all but man that song was so good before, all the build up it had was wasted to awkwardly go from one random song to the next. At least they still ended it with it, I guess.
