Platinum really did an amazing job with the Elite 4

It's a shame Black and White started the trend of shit teams for Gym Leaders, the Elite 4 and ruined everything

Best Champion, sure. Best E4 no, not when The Torterra and Luxray EQ and Crunch shows run through them like nothing.

B/W had the best E4, utterly lacking in personality or design, they had the best teams out of anybody, especially Fire cunt when most of the good pokemon in Gen 5 were bug or steel.

Personality and design-wise they were kid of forgettable. Flint was the only one that stood out to me.

As for teams they are easily the best, speaking of the Platinum teams of course. None repeating pokémon or NFE's like in previous generations and none of the maximum 4 pokémon from later generations bullshit. And then add in some decent movepools to top it off.

The only elite 4 that are memorable for me were the kanto one and the johto one, and that's probably only because I replayed those games so often. The rest I forget probably a week after I verse them or stop playing that version. All I remember are the champions and then maybe one member. Why are the elite 4 always so forgettable?
