So, I recently bout a 3DS, but I haven't played Pokemon since Platinum version. Should I get Black and White 1 and 2 or just emulate them? Or, should I just skip them and go on to X/Y?

black and white arent amazing but i think its worth it for the save data transfer stuff in the sequels. (requires 2 ds)

B2W2 are part of the trifecta so you definitely wanna play them. dont play both gen 5 games back to back.

If it the vanilla 3ds, emulate BW and 2. The DS games looks awful in the 3ds screen.
