Of course, they've got Niji scheduled for the holiday season, so if that's the case and it's something in addition to Z, then that puts Z off into 2017, which is a pretty damn long gap between XY and Z.
Personally, I'm hoping that they're going to do something really awesome with this, and that's the reason we haven't heard anything. Z isn't slated for release until next year, so they're playing coy since it's so far off, and then they're gonna blindside us with this completely unexpected awesome anniversary title that they've spent so long working on.
I can dream at least.
