Such things would normally be suspicious, but with Pokemon Day getting closer, I would say the time is right and marketing would definitely be prepared to reveal such a thing if it is true. As for the name and how it is being presented, Gamefreak is not known for smoke and mirrors on that matter, but I find it odd that they would choose such a thing. It does not immediately bring to mind any connection to X and Y, and it being a standalone title is also odd in that respect. It does not allude to anything we are aware of. It also marks another strange occurrence, that being it hearkens back to the first gen naming scheme, which used kanji instead of English words. That does not bode well. This is also what many people expected to be the name of the "definitive" pokemon game, either as the last game or the one that ties everything together. Sugimori's words echo in my mind, returning to the ideas of the first gen, to simplicity.
