We have Zygarde formes and Magearna. Its going to be either gen 6 Zygarde game or gen 7 or some mix of both, not another kanto return. Stop living in your fantasy world

This is something TPC said about FRLG... It's on Bulbapedia, FRLG's page.

We don't feel that this a remake at all. We feel that this is a new game, with wireless technology. The reason why they are Red and Green is that they were the most popular games in the Pokemon series, and we wanted to introduce the concept again for the GBA. And it's been eight years since Red and Blue, so our target audience changes in that time, and the new audience will see Pikachu or Charizard as new characters.

XY reintroduced Kanto's Pokemon 9 years after FRLG. :) You need Gen 8 before they can reintroduce Kanto pokemon again.

Also, GF doesn't have the resources and the cartridge capacity to rebuild every single region and feature for 3DS.
