Lets say it uses Platinum's Pokedex, some kids who played DP might complain that they tampered with the Pokedex and that using it is not nostalgic.

I'll agree with you about that on FR/LG, but HG/SS and OR/AS both improved on the gens they were a part of, so your point is still null and void for the most part.

No, they didn't. ESPECIALLY ORAS. ORAS flat out has less hours worth of in-game replayability than Emerald does. And ORAS came out almost 12 years later and didn't have to make the content from scratch. That's fucking sad.

Improving on an already finished game a decade later isn't hard nor should it be considered an accomplishment. But ORAS didn't even do that much. Remakes are trash.

They literally pasted ruby and sapphire together, gave the MCs eye rapingly bad designs, and then placed a little place where you can waste time clubbing retarded NPCs so you could buy exclusive shit. The BF was just a gimmick. There is yet to be a third game that is all "original content".
