>>25299568This is the first time there were 2 gens unavailable on the newest hardware, so logically speaking they would both be brought up to new gen standards. The VC releases make this idea less likely, but not impossible.
Chances are they wouldn't do back to back remakes unless they were ending this gen immediately after and releasing the new gen the next year though.
But there is an undeniable chance they will want to redo R/G again sometime.
