I fucking hate this more than anything in this game. It makes me so fucking mad that they ruin an entire pokemon like that.

Why have a bunch of different playing pokemon with different strategies when we can just normalize the fuck out of the stats and have a 400KG iceberg be the same as some dog

You can even go a step further like maybe fuckhueg pokemon with HP/DEF through the roof are so slow their attacks don't have 100% hit depending on opponent's speed.
