So everybody's fighting over gen 6.5 or gen 7, but what if this is the end of gens?

Think about it. ORAS released a bunch of new shit that wasn't backwards compatible. New Megas, Primal Reversion, costume Pikachu, etc.

We still have the whole Zygarde mess and Volcanion to roll out in this gen, and they're already releasing new pokemon like Magearna.

Maybe from here on out they'll just release the games with new pokemon and megas and shit and not group it by gens.

Personally I'd be cool with that.
