Minus shitty starters and gross Pokemon designs and I'll agree. Gen IV has the best designs, many new evos of old gen mons and pretty much perfect starters designs (1st gen level).

I didn't like BW1 but BW2 had the perfect mix of old and new people, plenty of post-game content that was actually fun, and the plot/team stuff wasn't too wordy and didn't end up bogging the game down.

BW2 is the last Pokemon game I genuinely enjoyed and putting aside the nostalgia I have for Gen 1 + 2, it's easily the best game in the series.

Gen IV has decent designs, although I will agree that the starters are probably the best overall. Really had a difficult time picking one.

R/S/E objectively had the best designs.

Giratina's Battle Theme is one of my favorite Battle Themes, and hearing it again in ORAS brought back some good memories.
I'm actually battling ORAS Giratina atm and I'm soft resetting until I get it Shiny.

I hated the normal battle theme in B&W more than anything in the entire series aside from Audino getting a Mega and not Hydregion

Just gotta hope they don't throw away all the cool touch screen shit they did when they remake it, like oras kinda did. Also imagine the underground without friend codes.

Battle music does suck but I was talking about routes/towns/cities.

Nuvema town and Aspertia are goat hometown themes.

Unwavering emotions and N's farewell for the feels only other theme that brings the feels that much is Verdanturf town.

Alder's theme is awesome only Sycamore's theme was as good.

Virbank, Icirrus, Lentimas, Opelucid are all great.
