Also there are Sun/Moon Gods in every old pagan religion out there. Could be Greek too. With Apollon (symbolized by a Gryffon) kinda represented by Yveltal and Artemis (who's symbol is a Stag) by Xerneas.
Could also be celtic.
The idea of carriages pulling Sun and Moon across the sky isn't a norse invention.
