Ranked Battlespot on ORAS is pentagon only, I'd expect similar limitations to persist into the new games.

Official VGC Rules for 2016 allow all gens iirc, so battle spot doubles will allow these new mons, I believe

VGC'16 would be alot better if it did allow them, having access to 5th gen dream radar mons whould be really beneficial to the meta right now. Sadly though the rules do state that it's just mons obtained in X, Y, OR or AS that are allowed to be used.
