Instead of getting a definitive edition which could become the best pokemon game to date, we are leaving kalos unresolved, unfinished and overall disappointing straight to another bland, first wave pokemon game?

I am actually kinda glad that we got to see new generation out of nowhere, simply because I can see now that /vp/ is a bunch of autistic contrarians.

You all were hyped for Zygarde and other stuff, now everyone seems to hate the idea that Kalos could be fixed.

Whatever, when you get disappointed YET AGAIN with first games, you'll see why all of this was a big mistake.

Being a new Gen doesn't necessarily mean they can't address stories and developments of a previous one. It can be Gen 7 yet still effectively be a sequel to XY.

Imagine if they introduced what we call Gen VI Pokemon, Pokemon #650 through #700 in BW2.
They didn't, but if they did, it wouldn't be wrong to refer to these 50 as Gen VI still, because they were introduced separately from Gen V Pokemon.
You wouldn't be able to get those 50 into BW, so BW would be Gen V games and BW2 would be Gen VI games for convenience, despite one being the sequel of the other.

These are mostly wojak falseflaggers from /v/ and casuals who came to /vp/ only for the Direct.
