When trading back and forth between r/b/y and g/s/c, shiny status of a pokemon was determined by their IV values, since shiny status (as well as a number of other stats like happiness and special defense) did not yet exist.
If the virtual console releases are unchanged from their original iterations, and the mew glitch can be performed and then any pokemon found with it subsequently traded up through the pokebank, would a legitimate shiny mew be obtainable?
