Gen 3 started the downfall of designs sure, but no one could seriously try to put it in the category for worst when its also the gen that introduced some of the best designed mons in the series

That's because gen 6 has objectively the best designs in the series. Its the gen with the least amount of badly-designed mons, literally only Chestnaught, the Barnacle line and Klefki suck.

They got the catmon right the first time with meowth and persian, skitty's stupid and way too cute.

Yeah, salamence is more majestic than dragonite, but he's also not as good design wise. And every dragon that came after is better.

I mean I guess you grew up with gen 3 and thats cool, I grew up with gen 2 and I have huge nostalgia glasses with it, but you gotta admit the truth.

I'm 24 and actually grew up with gen 1 and 2 so I have just as much the amount of nostalgia for the first 2 gens as you do but even I can admit when a gen I didn't really grow up with has good designs.
