give me the option to change the wi-fi battle backgrounds. i don't really reset the game to make another playthrough and battle online instead, so while character customization in x/y was a step in the right direction to reduce the monotony, they should go further than that; don't want to look at this green puke all the time.

An event Pokémon only available on the first day. I was buying it day one anyways but this will make it necessary.

Join Town (Join Avenue but a whole fucking town. Basically you get to a post game town that's like a ghost town with one or two settlers. Maybe even have the town's desolation be tied in with a subplot of the evil team or legendary. One of the settlers notices your immense amount of pokedollars and implores you to make the town a bustling marketplace like it once was. Boom.)

Shit I forgot to elaborate on that one feature. So PWT: Championship would be just like PWT with tiers of Gym Leaders to Champions etc. With a final round where they randomize past gen playable characters and you have to defeat that one in battle for the championship. So your last fight could be against someone like Gold or Hilbert.

Difficulty levels you can choose at the beginning of the game, even if just Easy vs Normal vs Challenge mode. Hoenn's ratio of new to old Pokemon. Back to basics, while keeping both the region and the story fittingly beautiful for the setting. But let's be real I'll be getting it day 1 no matter what.

I'll be playing as the first or third male option for Moon, and the first or third female option for Sun. It's obvious that customization will be fully back so it's good to see all the options the female protagonist has.

Litten for Moon and Rowlet for Sun, after my first playthrough of Sun I will Bank my team and restart to use Popplio.

An actual wolf Pokemon, they're one of my favorite animals and it is quite a shame we haven't had one yet. Other than that I'd say more options for male clothing since there weren't nearly enough with X and Y.

I'm getting it day 1 regardless, but a large pokedex with a mix of old and new pokemon, ala RSE or DPPt. Even something like BW2 that had an overwhelming majority of (kinda) new pokemon would be fine. More than 70 new ones tho would be nice.

I didn't enjoy customization in gen vi and skipped it, but it'd be cool if you could customize your character to look like past character designs, evil teams, gym leaders, etc.

Would also be nice to have real exclusivity to versions so I could buy both without feeling like I bought one game twice.
