If you look closely in the Fushia City Gym floor, there's dots to show the path to Koga.

If you have a Gameboy Pocket, you can just adjust the brightness and skip getting Flash in RBY.

There is one patch of grass on Floccery Ranch in BW2 which was not programmed to work like grass. The top right square of the dick shape grass by the entrance doesnt shake when you walk in it and you cant encounter Pokemon in it

Quite a few pokemon cries are exactly the same but with a little warping for gen 1 pokes. Examples being Charizard and Rhyhorn, Vileplume and Aerodactyl.

Even though this was done for limitation purposes on the GB, Gamefreak has never created new cries for pokemon with duplicate cries when games were made for stronger systems.

There are a lot of examples. I could only think of the 4 I listed, >>26459784 lists another. Machop and Omanyte are another example. It's the same clip, just slightly warped. but it's only due to hardware restraints.

Gen 2 is similar; it has more cries than Gen 1 but it still reuses some, like Girafarig and Porygon2. They did edit a lot of older cries in Gen 6 though (to my dismay; Raichu's older cry is much better than its newer one, even though Pikachu gets the fucking voice treatment).

Another Gen 2 fact, if you transfer a Surfing Pikachu from Gen 1, and Surf with it, it still has a special sprite.

Joltik has a higher Att stat than Onix.

Rowlet is the lightest 1st stage starter ever.

Tyranitar is the only Dark Type pseudo and also the only Rock/Dark Type in the games.

Gourgeist has the highest amount of formes of any pokemon. Charizard, Mewtwo, and Kyurem are the runners up with 3 formes each.

Goodra is the only Pseudo to not have a type-based Immunity, but still retains immunity to grass through Sap Sipper. If it was a fairy, it could've maintained the pattern. Poison/Fairy with that stat pool would be fucking horrifying, especially with Fire blast/Surf in its movepool

Spinda has only one forme, all with the same stats. It's purely an aesthetic thing. Which is why I'm reconsidering even amending the list with Unown at the top.

I would say Spinda and Unown shouldn't count because their "formes" are purely aesthetic and have no differentiating qualities between them. In light of this information I overlooked I'd put the final tally at:

>Rotom
>Genesect
>Gourgeist, Sawsbuck
>Wormadam, Mewtwo, Kyurem, Charizard
>All the remaining mons with one or two formes.

Yeah in Gen V when they had seasons it has 4 different formes for each season. But again that brings to mind aesthetic formes and formes that actually have typing/stat changes. I've ommitted the aesthetic formes from this list besides Sawsbuck:>>26460659

That's a whole other can of worms. I thought I remembered reading that the green blob Zygarde isn't even able to be used in battle. Is that right? If all 4 formes have differences that aren't purely aesthetic it goes into the 4 formes tier and replaces Sawsbuck which is purely aesthetic.
