Anyone else having it manifest as Gen 7 hype?

Anyone else also suffer from depressive issues and you're using Gen 7 hype as a distraction from your problems and if it ends up being bad you're not too sure what you'll do?

I made a stopped halfway through attempt in March that landed me in the ER and it made me realize I don't want to die, too scared to. Still wish I didn't exist though so I'm hoping this new game will give me a weeks worth of enjoying existence.

i don't get hype for games pre-release anymore, everything that gets talked up just falls flat on it's face

thank god FFX+X2 HD remaster dropped on steam, it'll keep me going for a while

Since the starters got announced I've been drawing endless fanart, coming up with numerous fan theories, and replaying through any older game I can get my hand on. It's like, I feel bad, and I do something Pokemon related to make myself feel better. Or I'm using it as an alternative for when my compulsions flare up (OCD). I just wish I wasn't relying on something fictional for all my happiness as of late.

When i would get beat up at school, id go home and cry with a knife to my throat wanting to die but to afraid to do it.
3 years later im in juvy on 23/1 for fighting sicker than ive ever been and i look for anything i can to kill myself, theres no possible way for me to do it, i was 13 so ididnt all the various ways its possible.
I hated my life and self and thought, well... I guess i might as well read the bible, see what it says. I did and its the only thing thats ever brought me any peace and sanity, please consider reading it, and be careful about what churches say
