it could be so cool, you know? mice are way cuter than most people think. they're not disgusting and dirty, they're so cute with their little muzzles and shit. they could get rid of the whiskers, okay. and maybe change up the ears a bit, maybe make them long and pointy, but not so long that it looks like a rabbit. they also have real cute cheeks almost like hamsters, you could accentuate that maybe with a little different colouring? I don't know
mice are so playful and happy, you could give them really bright colours. like yellow, the colour of happiness and the sun. and because everyone would think a mouse Pokémon would be a Normal, maybe Normal/Ground type, why not completely turn that expection around and make it special? if it's yellow, it could be Electric type as opposed to the Ground type that would come more cliché for a mouse Pokémon, for example
and maybe make it able to run on its four legs like an actual mouse, but make its head large (cute, chibi) enough so it doesn't look weird if it just stands on its hind legs.
I think that would be very cute guys, why is there no mouse Pokémon?
