>>26472321>OR/ASThese games were a fucking tragedy. Take almost every problem under R/S. Congratulations. None of these things are fixed. Here are even MORE problems they added to Hoenn;
>Megastones are not backwards compatible to X/Y, for the sole purpose of shilling more copies>Customization removed.Masuda claims customization was "thematically designed for Kalos". Funny how Pokémon Amie and The Battle Maison (with all it's Kalos NPC's) are all in the game. And how after the backlash, Customization has returned in Sun/Moon.
>No Post-GameLiterally replaced all of Emeralds Post-Game content with a 1-hour story where you catch Rayquaza, and OHKO the final boss (Deoxys). Bravo.
>The games are easier.All of those difficulty improvements in Emerald? Hah, no. The game is even easier than R/S, with things like EXP Share adding insult to injury.
>The goddamn fucking water. Also they give you a Mega Evolving Legendary Pokémon after the 5th Gym, which you are teleported to from the 4th Gym, s you don't get lost. Wish I was joking. I'm not.The only "fix" to the water is that if you restrict yourself to using just one of the dozens of water options in the game (Sharpedo), then you will be able to Suft slightly faster
>Everything spoiled before the game was even out.All of the Post-Game was in the trailer, but more insulting was Masuda's interview where he said you would have to play and find out, to see if there was any more Mega Pokémon in the Post-Game. Spoiler alert: There isn't any.
I can keep going. I really can. I can talk about the shitty redesigns, the story, the Meta aspects surrounding the franchise, and what worked, what didn't. What Game Freak learned from Hoenn, what they sure as hell did not. I can talk about how and why the Remakes were 2 years late from their anniversary, and the connotations of the lack of GBA Sounds. But this honestly just completely pisses me off to think about. You want to know why Hoenn is shit? There you fucking go.
