As for scans, if you want high quality scans like mine, unfortunately yes, you do have to debind them, which is why I have/buy two copies of doujins (my second copy of ~In Winter~ was already conveniently debinded though). I apply a hairdryer on the spine of the book to melt/loosen the glue, then slowly tear the pages out while the glue is loose for a very clean debinding. I heard that it's possible to rebind the book with this method, but I haven't tried it yet.

In the meantime though, if anyone else can translate these books, I would be eternally grateful because I really want to read these in English.
