Alright guys, just sketched it out as it would appear in real-life with some added references from BP and
>>26507740 's perspective.
Vermilion being Yokohama seems to really complicate things. It's as though Vermilion was based-off of Yokohama, but was placed where Chiba would be. I think I'll go ahead and keep Vermilion where Chiba is, but I really want to remake the map so that Vermilion is where Yokohama is. Seems like it would make more sense, considering Vermilion would start where the cycling road ends.
Indigo Plateau is somwhere SW/NW of Pewter City, depending on if you follow FR/LG (NW) or HG/SS (SW) canon. In the Japanese releases the name of IP references "Quartz", leading me to believe that it's somewhere in the Gunma prefecture that has a lot of granite mines... but the only place like that is NE of Maebashi (Pewter city) in the Kiryuu mines. Fack.
Lavendar town is based on either Sakura or Narita, so I just sort-of placed it between the two. Not too big of a distance difference. But it too does complicate the routes a tad, as it's very far inland from the coast, a stark contrast to Lavendar in the games which is quite closer.
Pewter City as Maebashi and Mt. Moon as Mt. Akagi is the largest problem I see at the moment. Even from
>>26507740 's perspective, Cerulean would still be far more south (Tsuchiura) than it currently appears to be, and Mt. Moon is much further north than Pewter city. Basically, this would mean Route 3 going through Mt. Moon is basically an unnecessary detour... or rather, a completely retarded detour as it not only goes north instead of south just to turn around, but it goes straight through a fucking mountain.
Celadon and Saffron are super close in real life, Celadon's practically a suburb in greater Tokyo and Saffron is a few blocks in greater Tokyo. Makes some sense, but it does for sure complicate the routes a tad.
