OP, play Platinum, HGSS, BW and then BW2 and you've gotten the most out of the series.

I don't like HGSS because to me they ruined Johto's aesthetic and tone, and didn't really add much of note gameplay wise besides an alright set of minigames and Kanto being slightly restored

Or in other words, "muh childhood", or "not muh Johto" I still think they're top tier Pokemon games but they just don't do it for me
