>>26510868I prefer Grass/Ground as long as it's SpAtk leaning over Atk leaning, to better differentiate from Torterra. The Fire/Fighting trend was kinda overbearing with 2 physical and 1 mixed.
Defensively, you've got
Grass/Flying:
Weaknesses: Fire, Flying, Ice, Poison, Rock
Resistances: Fighting, Grass, Water
Immunities: Ground
and
Grass/Ground:
Weaknesses: Bug, Fire, Flying, Ice
Resistances: Ground, Rock
Immunities: Electric
Grass/Flying is better offensively, but assuming Rowlet's line still has Flying type moves, then Grass/Ground is better, since Grass + Flying + Ground is only resisted by Emolga, Rotom-Fan, Skarmory, Thundurus, and Zapdos, so you can just pack HP Fire for Skarm. Not to mention Ground > Flying for the sake of taking Stealth Rock damage. If it can go Dodrio and learn Fly, it'd be immaculate.
