Unless they release the Pokemon Stadiums on virtual consol for the WiiU or even 3DS and make them compatible with RBY and the hypothetical GSC then I don't give a flying fuck whether they release GSC on VC or not. I'd rather just play on a cart. Literally go to Walmart and buy a new battery for your cart and watch a YouTube video for how to put it in. Not hard. Fuck VC without Stadium. That's the best part of RBYGSC.
