>>26531175>give japan things as an apologyApology for what? Japan attacked the US first, the US fought back to avoid losing even more people.
>they want peace just as much as everyone else wants peaceThe average 1945 Japanese citizen, sure. Their leaders, not so much. You ever heard of bushido? The leaders refused to back down because they thought there still might be a way to win. Backing down would be the height of shame for them, so the only way they would surrender was if they were convinced that they would die otherwise.
>no justification for violenceDo you really believe that? Do you actually and truly believe that no situation can ever call for war? That it's wrong to fight against a brutal regime which massacres civilians? War isn't a pretty solution, it doesn't make us feel good inside, but sometimes it's the only solution. Not everybody is willing to negotiate-do you just let them commit atrocities? Somebody else might attack you first-do you just surrender completely?
>think with hate, bigotry, and desire violenceNowhere did I say anything that implies hate or bigotry, don't try to project onto me. And I don't desire violence-I'd obviously prefer a non-violent solution, but sometimes those simply don't exist. The real world isn't a pretty place, not everybody gets along, not every problem can be solved with friendship and sharing.
