I received an Ivysaur named Slim Vynes through Wonder Trade a while back (he's a Venusaur now). Love him to death. There's also a Vivillon named BLAKE NURR who came from WT as well; he hasn't seen use, but for some reason I just love the name.

That's my current playthrough of Platinum. I noticed halfway through that 3 of my 4 pokemon were female, with Turtwig being the only male, so I kept that theme going with the other 2 pokemon I caught. Now it's basically just Torterra's harem. I just name my pokemon the first thing that comes to mind.

I'm sure all of these names are fucking retarded though.

I used to do that all the time when I was a kid. Each new team I created would all have a theme, which was usually from my current favorite show or movie.
