(1) Terrible voice acting, which is the standard for the English dub since Sarah Natochenny, James Cathcart, etc. became the VAs for the series because TPCi were too cheap to keep Veronica Taylor, Eric Stuart, and so on. The Pokemon's voices also went to crap from BW-XYZ, just listen to Goodra, Talonfalame, or Hoopa (Both)'s dub voices if you need proof of that.
(2) Terrible music replacement score: only about 12.5% of the Japanese OST has been kept from Seasons 17-19 as a whole, with the rest of it replaced with UFO, faux ballet, and opera stuff that doesn't fit the mood of the Series at all.
(3) Terrible script writing/dialogue from James Cathcart: basically, the man rewrites everything Team Rocket say into slang, alliterations, or rhymes, and Ash etc. also suffer, having dumbed down lines or lines of slang as well, all of which are not in the Japanese Version.
>>26590226Yup, Goldfarb also screwed the BGM and replaced 96.5% of it with his own garbage tracks in addition to TPCi making Ash dumber then he really is in XY with that edit/script rewrite.
